Horizon-FP adds value for Managers of Production, Sales, Marketing, and Finance with fast, simple integration to your existing Company
database(s), accurate multi-level time-series forecast development and concise, logical and useful reports.

Horizon-FP is designed to be both flexible enough and comprehensive enough to manage the forecasting process any company with multiple SKU's, Customers, Product Categories, Sales Channels, all or some of the above.

Horizon-FP integrates with your Company server via our "EasyBridge"™ architecture. We provide a file tree and a series of download templates in Microsoft Excel .xls format that are split in a normalized design. Your Systems staff then creates simple SQL queries out of your server to match and replace the templates.
All the necessary data filtering logic to create meaningful forecasts using Forecast Pro is embedded in the Horizon-FP Application. Once the Application is populated, the simple SQL queries created by your Systems staff are then reused to provide snapshot updates, ensuring the Application data maintains integrity with the Company server data.

When prompted, Horizon-FP imports the templates and applies the logic to create multi-level Forecast Masters from the Customer data download, and/or the Sales Channel data download. These base data downloads then become the point of origin for two data-streams that branch to become six Forecast Masters. Each Forecast Master can produce an independent forecast. The Business Manager can then pick which Forecast Master(s) best match the purpose of the forecast and the structure of the Company's product (i.e. the Customer Forecast Master forecasts allocation, the Product Category Forecast Master forecasts demand, etc…)

With the Forecast Masters created, Horizon-FP can then parse the data for immediate use by Forecast Pro for creating and adjusting the forecasts and providing item and graphical reporting. When prompted, Horizon-FP imports the saved Forecast Pro forecasts, and updates the Forecast Master for summary reporting with multiple data-aggregation views.

The open-architecture VB 6.0 design allows for unlimited customization in-house or by our Consulting Staff. A one period output process is included to upload the forecast back into your demand planning application or other database(s). Multiple process documentation data entry screens are included for managing special events and maintaining a continual record of the forecasting development at your Company.

System Requirements

• Horizon-FP runs on any Windows operating system. For best performance we recommend Windows 2000, Windows NT or Windows 98 on a fast machine (450mhz processor or higher, 56MB RAM or higher.) We confirm and configure each Application for your specific operating system prior to shipment.
• Horizon-FP runs in Microsoft Access 2000. If you do not have Access 2000 we will provide a run-time version of Access at no charge.

Purchase Terms

A single-user license for Horizon-FP 1.0 is $3000. Overnight shipping and any applicable tax is included in the sale price. Please read the terms of the User-Agreement found in Users Guide download. Normal support of the Application is included for one year after the date of purchase. The Horizon-FP 1.0 package contains the Application Disk, the File Tree Disk, the Microsoft Access 2000 Run-time Disk, and the printed Users Guide in a high-quality, enclosed archive binder.

Data development, implementation management and/or questions concerning forecasting strategy, systems strategy, customization, or implementation issues that involve Microsoft or Forecast Pro, can be resolved by our Consulting Staff at the current hourly consulting rate. Sky Summit reserves the option to determine normal support questions from Consulting questions.
